Tips & Guidelines
Follow these suggestions to get the best results from our AI.
Welcome to the Rejection Email Generator! Say no clearly, and leave the other person with their dignity. Here’s how to fill out the form like a pro:
- Your Name: Who’s delivering the news. Your real name, so a reply has somewhere to go.
- Send To: The candidate, the pitcher, or whoever asked. Use their name—a rejection addressed to “Candidate” stings more than it needs to.
- What this email should say: What you’re declining, and whether the door stays open. “We chose someone else for the marketing manager role, and keep the door open” tells the AI exactly how kind to be.
- Tone of Voice: Respectful or empathetic. Kind, not vague. A soft no they can’t decode is worse than a clear one.
- Writing Style: Professional. Warm is fine. Don’t dress a rejection up as a marketing email.
- Response Length: Short. The decision, a brief reason if you have one, and what happens next. They don’t need an essay on the process.
- Language: The language you interviewed or wrote in. Bad news shouldn’t arrive in a language they have to look up.
Send the no, and make it a clear one.
